A fun and enjoyable book. Nice size for little hands. Reminds me of my childhood although a bit repetitive for a 2 and a half year old. Tabby McTat is the best child's book I have read, better than this! However, I did like this one and am glad I bought it.

I bought this book for my toddler, because I knew it's a classic for small children... But in the end my eldest daughter (she's 5) fell for it, she keeps repeating the rhymes, and I loved this book myself!.. The rhythm of the words and rhymes is just perfect, I think it's a must for every home with a child!

I would recommend this book to parents. My 19 month old really enjoys it. Silly story really but fun all the same.

Wow, when I saw this book while pressie shopping for my grandson I was filled with memories both of my own childhood and also that of my chilren. I have been humming and singing the rhyme since buying the book! The set out is great, each page showing the contents of the old ladies stomach as she adds each creature, briliant. Amazing that this still keeps children amused in this day and age.

This book is brilliant for my 11month old son. Its the perfect size for him to hold. Its colourful and teaches them the song through pictures until they are able to read it for them selves.
Would highly recommend.
