Sweet July 27, 2010 Mrs. N. Millican (Windsor) A lovely picture book where you can create your own narrative to best suit your child.
Dissappointing! March 25, 2010 W Napier (England)
I purchased a simular book 'Im a big brother', which my grandson loves and insists on having it read to him every night. I thought, from the discription provided, this book would be the same style but instead it was just grim looking pictures with very little story. He hasent looked at it since.
Loved this book! March 19, 2010 Fi P (UK, Surrey) Bought to read to my daughter. I was worried about how she was going to react to a baby taking over her space so thought better forewarned!!
I loved this book and have recommended it to all of my friends. The pictures are great. It shows what can happen when a baby comes along. I especially liked that "Daddy" had to do jobs around the house because Mummy was so tired. And of course Daddy can just be a friend if there isn't a male in the household.
When my son came along, my daughter who was nearly 2 by this time knew exactly what was happening. Whether this is down to the book or just the situation I will never know however it gave me peace of mind that I was preparing her for her brother!
A great help! November 28, 2009 C. Lacey (Hungary) Everyone asks how we managed to avoid sibling rivalry when our second child was born. We always put it down to this book and its sequel. Our son knew exactly what was happening and was really very excited.
Great Book if your creative with stories September 7, 2009 M. K (UK) I bought this book for our toddler to help prepare her for our new arrival. I like the book especially that it has no story attached to it, that way you can make it very personal to you. If you prefer to have a story written for you then this is not the book for you. My daughter really enjoys this book and likes to talk through each page of what she can see, sometimes that is more fun than the story itself.
I would recommend this book!
