A great help! November 28, 2009 C. Lacey (Hungary) Everyone asks how we managed to avoid sibling rivalry when our second child was born. We always put it down to this book and its sequel. Our son knew exactly what was happening and was really very excited.
Great Book if your creative with stories September 7, 2009 M. K (UK) I bought this book for our toddler to help prepare her for our new arrival. I like the book especially that it has no story attached to it, that way you can make it very personal to you. If you prefer to have a story written for you then this is not the book for you. My daughter really enjoys this book and likes to talk through each page of what she can see, sometimes that is more fun than the story itself.
I would recommend this book!
Waiting for baby May 24, 2009 I am finding this book very helpful, sometimes hard to think of things to say after a long day at work as there are no words! But overall very good!
waiting for baby May 22, 2009 Mrs. K. A. Grace (Southport, UK) lovely book - no words so we can insert our names / daughters name to make it seem more about our family. Having fun acting out the pictures from the book.
create your own story! May 21, 2009 J. A. Isherwood (London) This book has lovely illustrations, including breastfeeding mother which I have found refreshing in comparison to the majority of books which show baby being bottle-fed.
We can tell the story to suit our daughter, "look, here's you giving Mummy's tummy a kiss!", "remember when we went to the doctor and had a look at the baby in Mummy's tummy?" etc..
And as she gains a greater understanding we can change the story to include more detail.
a great book for any age.
