The dvd player on our HDD/DVD player isn't working and after reading all the superb reviews of this product I had high hopes. When it arrived I noticed that it was just a standard dvd cleaner without the liquid, it uses dry clean. It only cleans for about 30 seconds which seems very short to me and it made absolutely no difference at all. I think this product is over priced and overrated.

We followed the instructions and at first our DVD couldn't read the disc and we figured it was too far gone. However we then reinserted the disc several times rotating it a little each time and after a few attempts it finally worked. So if it doesn't work first time don't give up.

I'm very happy with this dvd cleaner. The longer bristle brush on one side is I think what makes it work better than others. Previously i had a woolworths dvd cleaner and it just didn't do the job although it had more brushes but they are all of equal sizes. I was close to considering another dvd player but this beautiful kit has saved me losing my beloved sony dav 550 home cinema system so full marks.

I've used this on several laser devices which were playing up either in burning or playing CDs/DVDs etc and also for routine cleaning. It's sometimes easy to use but not always. It's quite cheap though and worth buying before ditching a device or taking it in for repair.

I am very pleased with the product, I found that I had to use it several times to have achieve a permanent result. I have recommended the product to many of my friends. Using the lens cleaner has meant that I do not need to buy a new CD player.
