 Sony midi dvd player. March 4, 2010

Old dvd player died. Decided to buy a cheapie. The Sony fitted the bill, so ordered it. Received it 3 days later plugged it in and it works a treat. What more can you ask for, cheap, quickly supplied, and it works. Cheers.

This DVD player was bought because it was advised as being Region 1-capable. It does NOT play ANY Region 1 DVDs. Let buyers beware! In all other respects, it appears to play Region 2 DVDs and is simple to operate.

We had a budget to buy a new DVD and this one fitted the bill. We don't ask much of our player so this one is great. Nice and small, quiet running and pretty quick to move between functions. I always rely on the Sony brand (only been disappointed once with a laptop) and this one is living up to it so far. Only 4 weeks into ownership but also half way through The Wire boxset and a few films and no issues at all.
